Company Background: The Capetta Group has been operating in the wine field for more than fifty years. Founded in the 1953 by Capetta Francesco, the Group is now run by his family, who following his insight and skill and paying particular attention to the modern technological and marketing evolution, has projected the Group towards the future, giving it a successful image and top position in the sector. Our wines originate from the grapes of the farmers who have been supplying the Company for years, from the farms owned by the family and from the best local co-operatives.

Estate area: The cellar, located in S. Stefano Belbo, in the heart of Asti and Moscato d?Asti DOCG?s production land

Winery/ Bottling Facilities: The production potentiality is 100.000 bottles per day, using completely automatized facilities during the whole process, from the bottle sterilisation up to the final pallettization system.

Awards Won: Capetta was the first wine producer in Piedmont and among the very first in Italy to obtain Environmental Certification ISO 14001.

Capetta Moscato Spumante

Grapes: Moscato
Tasting Notes: Extremely popular sweet wine also produced from the Moscato grape in Piemonte, North West Italy. This gently sweet and naturally light in alcohol wine has delicate, fresh grapey aromas and flavours.
Food Pairing: Its lively sparkle makes it most suitable for special occasions!

Capetta Asti DOCG

Origin: Piemonte, Italy
Grapes: Moscato
Tasting Notes: Famous throughout the world, Asti is only produced in the North West Piemonte region around the ancient town of Asti. Made from selected Moscato grapes and naturally fermented. Light straw in colour, deliciously fruity with a lively sparkle.
Food Pairing: Most enjoyed with desserts and fruit!
Alcohol Content: 7.5% vol

Gavi DOCG Balbi Soprani

Origin: Piemonte, Italy
Grapes: 100% Cortese
Tasting Notes: Pale straw yellow in colour with subtle green tinges. The bouquet is delicate and fresh with fruity notes followed by a pleasant, dry and harmonic palate with a fresh aftertaste.
Food Pairing: Perfect served as an aperitif, with starter courses, fish, seafood and white meat dishes

Gavi di Gavi DOCG Conti Speroni

Origin: Piemonte, Italy
Grapes:Cortese
Tasting Notes: Light straw in colour with delicious aromas of almond trees in blossom. The flavour is dry and harmonious with a slightly bittersweet sensation on the palate.
