The Antonutti winery is in Colloredo di Prato, where tradition and innovation creatively reign, and the vineyards of Barbeano are in the heart of the "Grave" zone. Our wines show the care taken in selecting the grapes. White and red wines are derived from native and international varietals, and vinified in stainless steel. The whites are fresh and elegant while the reds, aged in large oak barrels, reveal personality and structure. With their moderate alcohol and balanced flavour they demonstrate the strength of this part of Friuli and testify to the tenacity of the Antonutti family, whose history dates back almost a century.

Grapes: 100% Sauvignon
Tasting Notes: Luminous straw yellow in colour. The bouquet is true to the typical characteristic of the varietal. Vivacious in the mouth with a strong aromatic persistence.

Origin: Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy
Grapes: 100% Pinot Grigio
Tasting Notes: Straw Yellow with delicate copper tints. This Pinot Grigio boasts floral notes, followed by aromas of fresh fruit. The taste is characterised by a pleasing freshness that is gentile and full.

Tasting Notes: Brilliant ruby red in colour with delicate hues around the edges. This wine is rich with delicate aromas, of dark fruits followed by a 'finale' of toasted hazelnut and earthy notes. Balanced and harmonious on the palate this is a mouth filling wine of notable character.

Antonutti 1920 Refosco DOC

Origin: Friuli, Italy 
Grapes: 100% Refosco dal Penduncolo Rosso
Tasting Notes: Although the Refosco grape has become synonymous with this corner of north-east Italy, in fact the grape's origins lie further north in the French alpine region of the Savoie! The wines are traditionally deep-coloured and full-bodied with excellent concentration of cedar wood and spices on the nose and palate. A complex red, full of raspberry, blackberry and liquorice, aged for a period in oak.
